Eirik Gustavsen grew up amongst the Norwegian nature that has inspired his love of film. After spending high school in Norway specializing in technology, physics, and maths, he decided to follow his heart to study film production full time at Falmouth University in Cornwall, UK. After finishing his studies he started working on TV drama as a camera trainee for the BBC Studios in Cardiff.
